How Instagram Connects
Instagram comes through your connected Facebook account — your Instagram professional account must be linked to a Facebook Page. There's no separate Instagram login.
What You Can Do
- Read and reply to comments on posts and reels
- Hide or delete comments
- Reply privately to a commenter by direct message
- See mentions of your account
Replying Publicly vs Privately
A public reply appears under the comment. A private reply opens a direct message with that person — the right choice when you need an order number or want to resolve a complaint out of public view.
Hiding vs Deleting
Hiding leaves the comment visible to its author but hidden from everyone else, which usually draws less attention than deletion. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone from Dinopix.
Permissions
Instagram messaging requires additional permissions from Meta. If private replies aren't available on your account yet, that approval is still pending — comments and hiding work regardless.
