Set up email forwarding to receive ProductReview reviews in your dashboard.

How It Works

ProductReview.com.au doesn't offer a public API, so Dinopix Reviews uses a clever workaround: email forwarding. When you receive a notification email from ProductReview about a new review, it gets forwarded to Dinopix, where we parse it and display it in your dashboard alongside your Facebook, Instagram, and Google reviews.

What You Can Do

  • View all reviews — ProductReview reviews appear in your Reviews page with the orange ProductReview badge
  • AI-powered responses — Use our AI to draft professional, friendly, or apologetic responses
  • Copy & reply — Copy your drafted response to clipboard and click through to reply directly on ProductReview.com.au
  • Track responses — Drafted responses are saved so you can refer back to them
  • Sentiment analysis — Star ratings are automatically analysed for sentiment
  • Notifications — Get notified in-app when a new ProductReview review comes in

Setup Steps

  1. Go to Connections in your Dinopix Reviews dashboard
  2. Find ProductReview and click Connect
  3. You'll see your unique forwarding address (e.g. reviews@inbound.dinopix.ai)
  4. In your email client (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), set up an automatic forwarding rule for ProductReview notification emails to this address
  5. New reviews will start appearing in your dashboard automatically

Setting Up Email Forwarding in Gmail

  1. Open Gmail and click the gear icon > See all settings
  2. Go to Filters and Blocked Addresses tab
  3. Click Create a new filter
  4. In the From field, enter the email address ProductReview sends notifications from (e.g. noreply@productreview.com.au)
  5. Click Create filter
  6. Check Forward it to and enter reviews@inbound.dinopix.ai
  7. Click Create filter

Tip: You may need to verify the forwarding address in Gmail first. Go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP and add the address there before creating the filter.

Setting Up Email Forwarding in Outlook

  1. Go to Settings > Mail > Rules
  2. Click Add new rule
  3. Name it "ProductReview to Dinopix"
  4. Condition: From contains productreview.com.au
  5. Action: Forward to reviews@inbound.dinopix.ai
  6. Save the rule

Important Notes

  • Only new reviews will be captured — historical reviews from before you set up forwarding won't appear
  • Make sure you don't disable or delete the forwarding rule, or new reviews won't sync
  • The forwarding email address must match the email on your Dinopix Reviews account so we can match reviews to your business
