Add Dinopix as a notification recipient on your ProductReview listing.

How It Works

ProductReview.com.au doesn't offer a public API, so Dinopix uses a different mechanism: each of your businesses gets its own unique email address. You add that address to your ProductReview listing as a notification recipient, and ProductReview sends every new review, updated review, and comment straight to Dinopix — no Gmail forwarding rule required.

What Gets Captured

  • New reviews — appear with the orange ProductReview badge and contribute to your overall rating
  • Updated reviews — when a customer edits their review, you'll see it with an "Updated review" badge (these don't change your average rating — they're notifications only)
  • New comments — threaded replies on a review, with a "Comment" badge and a link back to PR for full context
  • Sentiment analysis — star ratings are automatically classified as positive, neutral, or negative
  • In-app notifications — get a notification badge whenever a new review or comment lands

Setup Steps

  1. Open Dinopix Reviews and go to Settings > Businesses
  2. Under the business you want to connect, find the ProductReview inbox section
  3. Click Copy to copy your unique inbox address (it looks like reviews-abc123xyz@dinopix.ai)
  4. Open ProductReview.com.au and sign in as a business representative for your listing
  5. Go to your business listing > Settings > Notification Recipients (the exact path may vary — look for "manage who gets emails" or similar)
  6. Add the Dinopix inbox address as a new recipient
  7. Select the notification types: New Reviews, Updated Reviews, and New Comments
  8. Save your changes — the next review left on your listing will land in your Dinopix inbox automatically

Verification Email

ProductReview may send a verification email to the new recipient address before they'll deliver notifications. Dinopix can't auto-confirm this for you. If you don't see review notifications after 24–48 hours:

  • Email support@dinopix.ai with your business name and we'll manually confirm the verification on our end
  • Or check with ProductReview support whether the recipient address has been verified on their side

What About Reviews From Before You Connected?

The email-recipient flow only captures reviews going forward. For reviews that existed on your listing before you connected Dinopix, use the ProductReview historical ratings section in Settings > Businesses. Enter your current rating breakdown (how many 5☆, 4☆, etc.) by looking at your live listing, and Dinopix will include those in your overall average alongside newly captured reviews.

One Address Per Business

Each business in Dinopix has its own unique inbox address. This means we always know which business a review belongs to — no need for fuzzy name matching. If you manage two listings on ProductReview (e.g. two different brands), add the matching Dinopix inbox to each one separately.

Important Notes

  • You do not need to set up Gmail or Outlook forwarding rules — ProductReview sends directly to Dinopix
  • Other email types from ProductReview (invoices, billing, marketing) are automatically ignored — only review notifications create entries in your dashboard
  • If you need to remove the connection, just delete the recipient address from your ProductReview notification settings — no action required in Dinopix
