Reviews Not Appearing
If forwarded ProductReview emails aren't showing up as reviews in your dashboard, check the following:
- Forwarding rule is active — Check your email client to make sure the forwarding rule hasn't been disabled or deleted
- Correct forwarding address — Make sure you're forwarding to
reviews@inbound.dinopix.ai - Email account matches — The email address you're forwarding from must match the email on your Dinopix Reviews account. If they're different, we can't match the review to your business
- Check spam/filters — Make sure ProductReview emails aren't going to spam before the forwarding rule can catch them
Review Matched to Wrong Business
If you manage multiple businesses and a review was matched to the wrong one, this can happen when we can't determine which business the review is for. To avoid this:
- Make sure your location names in Dinopix match the business names on ProductReview.com.au as closely as possible
- If you only have one business, reviews will always be matched correctly
Missing Review Content
Sometimes the email parser may not extract all review details (rating, reviewer name, or review text). This can happen if:
- ProductReview changed their email notification template
- The email was modified during forwarding
The review will still appear in your dashboard, but some fields may show default values. The original review is always accessible via the "View on ProductReview" link.
Can I Sync Historical Reviews?
No — the email forwarding method only captures new reviews received after you set up forwarding. To see older reviews, visit your ProductReview.com.au business dashboard directly.
Can Dinopix Post Replies Directly?
No — ProductReview.com.au doesn't offer an API for posting replies. That's why we use the draft, copy, and paste workflow. You draft your response in Dinopix (with AI assistance), copy it, and paste it on ProductReview.com.au manually.
