Columns and Filters

Show the columns you care about, put them in the order you want, and narrow a long list down to the rows you need.

Columns

The columns menu above a list controls both which columns show and what order they are in. Visible columns are listed first; hidden ones sit below.

Lead source
  • Hide a column: click the tick next to it.
  • Show one: click it in the hidden list. It is added at the end.
  • Reorder: drag the grip handle on a visible column.

Your choice is remembered for you, on that device. It does not change what teammates see, so there is no harm in setting it up the way you work.

Filters

The filter bar builds conditions, shown as chips. Add as many as you need and remove them one at a time by clicking the chip. Conditions combine, so each one narrows the list further.

Your custom fields are filterable too. Text fields match on contains, so "coast" finds "Coastal Brew". Numbers, dates and dropdowns match exactly.

Practical combinations

  • Lead source is Referral, to see how a channel is performing.
  • A renewal date, to build this month's call list.
  • A service plan dropdown, to check who is on the tier you are about to change.

Exporting what you filtered

Export respects the filters in place, so narrow the list first and you get the rows you wanted rather than everything. Export is available on Starter and above. See exporting data.

If a column looks empty

An empty column usually means the data has not come in rather than that it is broken. A store sync fills some fields and not others; a manually added contact has only what you typed. Check the record itself before assuming a fault.
