How Instagram Connects
Instagram comes through your connected Facebook account, so your Instagram professional account must be linked to a Facebook Page. There's no separate Instagram login.
What You Can Do
- Read and reply to comments on posts and reels
- Hide or delete comments
- See mentions of your account
Replying Publicly
A public reply appears under the comment. Replying privately by direct message is not available yet: it needs messaging permissions Meta has not approved. When you need an order number or want to resolve a complaint out of public view, ask the person to message you, and the conversation arrives in your Inbox.
Hiding vs Deleting
Hiding leaves the comment visible to its author but hidden from everyone else, which usually draws less attention than deletion. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone from Dinopix.
Permissions
Private replies need messaging permissions from Meta that are still pending, so they are not available on any account yet. Comments and hiding work regardless.
