The Response Flow
Since ProductReview doesn't have an API for posting replies, the process uses a draft, copy, and paste workflow:
- Find the review: Go to your Reviews page and find the ProductReview review (marked with an orange badge)
- Click "Draft Response": This opens the reply composer
- Use AI Suggest: Click Professional, Friendly, or Apologetic to generate an AI-powered response tailored to the review
- Edit if needed: Tweak the suggested response to your liking
- Click "Save & Copy": Your response is saved in Dinopix and copied to your clipboard
- Click "Reply on ProductReview": This opens the review on ProductReview.com.au in a new tab
- Paste your response: Paste from your clipboard into ProductReview's reply box and submit
After Responding
Once you've saved a response, the review card in Dinopix will show:
- "Drafted Response": Your saved reply text with an amber highlight
- "Copy Response" button: re-copies the text if you need it again
- "Reply on ProductReview" link: goes back to the review on ProductReview.com.au
Tips
- You can edit your saved response at any time by clicking Edit on the drafted response
- The AI response uses your Brand Voice settings. Configure these in Settings for more personalised suggestions
- Even though we can't post directly to ProductReview, your response history is saved in Dinopix for your records
