The bell
The bell in the top bar shows unread notifications. Unlike most of the app, it is not limited to the business you are viewing: it covers every business you belong to. Clicking a notification takes you to the item and switches you to the right business on the way.

View all opens the complete history, paged, with the same grouping and an unread-only toggle. Mark all as read clears the count without opening each one.
The groups
- Assigned. Work given to you.
- Mentions. Someone used your name with an @ in a note, and new brand mentions found by social listening.
- Reviews. New reviews, negative reviews, and replies received.
- Inbox. New private messages.
- System. Connection problems, expiring tokens, plan and billing notices. Worth checking even when nothing looks wrong, because this is where a silently broken sync announces itself.
In-app notifications and email are separate
The bell always works, on every plan. Email alerts are a separate setting and are available from Starter up. Turning email off does not turn the bell off, and marking something read in the app does not unsend an email already sent.
To choose which emails go where, see notification settings. Email can also go to people who are not Dinopix users at all, using verified recipients.
If notifications are not arriving
- Nothing in the bell: nothing has happened yet, or the sync that would create it is failing. Check System, then sync not working.
- Bell works, email does not: that is a notification settings or plan question, not a sync one.
- A teammate sees notifications you do not: notifications follow what your role can see. See roles and permissions.
