Getting Started

Connecting Judge.me

Connect your Judge.me store to bring product reviews into Dinopix, reply to them on your store, and understand what Judge.me does and does not allow.

What It Does

Judge.me collects product reviews on your online store. Connecting it brings every review into your Dinopix inbox alongside Google and Facebook, and replies you send from Dinopix are published under the review on your store, just as if you had replied inside Judge.me.

Judge.me is included on every paid plan. It works with Judge.me's own Free plan, so you do not need to upgrade anything on the Judge.me side.

Connecting Your Store

  1. Open Platforms in Dinopix with the business the store belongs to selected.
  2. Choose Connect store on the Judge.me card.
  3. Sign in to Judge.me if asked, check the store name on the consent screen, and approve.
  4. You land back in Dinopix with a confirmation. Your existing reviews start importing straight away.

Dinopix asks Judge.me for three things only: to see your store details, to read your reviews, and to post replies. It cannot publish, hide, edit or delete your reviews.

Each business connects one Judge.me store. To switch to a different store, disconnect the current one first.

What Gets Captured

  • Your full review history, imported when you connect, so the inbox is complete from day one
  • New reviews as soon as Judge.me publishes them. Judge.me can take a few minutes to process a new review before it sends it on
  • The product each review is about, shown on the review card and used when drafting a reply. On Shopify stores the product name links to the product page
  • Store reviews, the ones about your shop rather than a product, which appear without a product name
  • Rating and sentiment, so low-star reviews surface first and trigger the same email alerts as every other platform

Reviews that are unpublished or archived in Judge.me are kept but marked as hidden.

Replying

Reply from the review in Dinopix as normal, or start from an AI suggestion that already knows which product was reviewed. When you send, the reply appears under the review on your store and Judge.me emails the reviewer to say you replied.

A posted reply cannot be changed from Dinopix. Judge.me lets apps create replies but not edit or delete them, so once a reply is posted the review shows Change it in Judge.me instead of Edit and Delete. To change or remove it, use your Judge.me dashboard.

Auto-reply works with Judge.me too. Turn it on under Settings > Auto-reply and choose Judge.me as one of the platforms.

Judge.me does not tell apps whether a review already has a reply. Reviews that you answered in Judge.me before connecting will show as unanswered in Dinopix. Check your Judge.me dashboard before replying to older reviews.

Disconnecting

Choose Disconnect on the Judge.me card in Platforms. Dinopix stops receiving reviews and removes its access to your store. Your imported reviews and replies stay in Dinopix unless you tick the option to delete them. Reconnecting the same store later picks up where it left off without duplicating anything.

Troubleshooting

  • Judge.me shows as locked: Judge.me is on paid plans. Upgrade under Settings > Billing
  • "This business already has another store connected": disconnect the existing store on the Judge.me card, then connect the new one
  • "Judge.me refused the token": access was removed on the Judge.me side. Disconnect and connect again
  • A new review has not appeared: give it a few minutes, as Judge.me processes new reviews in the background. Dinopix also checks for missed reviews on a regular schedule
